iTunes Shuffle Experiment

I read this on my friend B's blog, and decided to give it a try, just for funsies. Unfortunately, Mike's musical taste will probably show up, as most of the music on our iTunes is his Pearl Jam, Led Zeppelin, etc.

IF YOUR LIFE WAS A MOVIE, WHAT WOULD THE SOUNDTRACK BE?

So, here's how it works:
1. Open your library (iTunes, Winamp, Media Player, iPod, etc)
2. Put it on shuffle
3. Press play
4. For every question, type the song that's playing
5. When you go to a new question, press the next button
6. Don't lie and try to pretend you're cool... and alot of the songs fit with the setting

Opening Credits: " Achilles Last Stand" by Led Zeppelin (arrghghh- Mike!)

Waking Up: "Something in the Air" by Thunderclap Newman (Almost Famous soundtrack)

First Day At School: "Wide Open Spaces" by Dixie Chicks- pretty philosophical, no?

Falling In Love: "Star 69" by R.E.M.

Fight Song: "Yeti Stomp" from The Backyardigans soundtrack (checked out from the library, we don't own this)- I guess this works for a fight song, against a Yeti (?)

Breaking Up: "You're the Man, (Parts 1 & 2)" by Marvin Gaye

Prom night: "You see the trouble with me" by Barry White

Life: "Come Together" by The Beatles

Mental Breakdown: "The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down" by The Band (Goin' South soundtrack- yes, I bought the 2 disk set for Mike, long ago)

Driving: "Evenflow" by Pearl Jam- I'd have to agree, good driving tune

Flashback: "Red Roses" by The BoDeans

Getting back together: "Bobo on the corner" by The Beastie Boys

Wedding: "1999" by Prince- woah, how'd this know our wedding year??? whhoooooooooooooo...

Birth of Child: "Hey There Delilah" by Plain White T's- I don't know about this as a birth song, but this song was purchased at the request of my child, so that might count for something

Final Battle: "Mr. President (Have Pity on the Working Man)" by Randy Newman (Forrest Gump soundtrack)
